his name was asher, from isreal, and he was the locksmith.
he said he had been here for two years, coming for a girl, and that in his country it is much harder to break into a lock i asked him if it was because of the conflict in the area, he said no. mostly, he said, because of how the houses were built. his accent was curious, reminded me a little of french.
he charged me 119 bux. an expensive night out. but i was not mad at him because he said 'the company' took most of the profit.
it took about 5 mins.
he told me that he had locked himself out of his car 3 times, and his house once, to which i was incredulous given that he was a locksmith.
he said that from those events he eventually learned to carry spare loose copy in his wallet.
in isreal, he said, no one walked around without a spare. especially because of how hard it was to break into isreali houses.
